Millburn/Short Hills are 2 seperate towns within the Millburn Township. Because they are each small communities they pool their resources across many of the towns’ amenities and services. Together they share a Millburn Middle School and Millburn High School. They share the town’s recreational center (including the gorgeous town pool) and all rec programming. They have separate zip codes and post offices.
Sections of Millburn:
There are 2 distinct Millburn neighborhoods – Wyoming and South Mountain – hence the names of their respective elementary schools. Both neighborhoods boast tight knit communities and are in high demand.
Sections of Short Hills
Short Hills has 4 neighborhoods that are largely based on their location. Deerfield (the furthest north), Hartshorn (largely in the middle), Glenwood (on the southern border) and Old Short Hills (in the epi center). Each neighborhood has its own grammar school with the exception of Old Short Hills which feeds to both Glenwood and Hartshorn.
