It took me a long time to be comfortable enough with my clients to recommend their homes be professionally staged before putting them on the market to sell. It takes a careful combination of words so that they don’t feel insulted about their home’s style, but yet be insistent that we need to make changes.
This is the case with so many Baby Boomers who are selling their homes to the next generation – the Millenials. These are today’s home buyers and they grew up with HG TV and online home design resources at their finger tips. They know what they like and its easy enough to make some changes to better appeal to their sensibilities. Why fight? Its better to give them what ther want because they are willing to pay.
